Overview

Competitor Analysis helps you understand how competing companies attract users, structure their product experience, communicate value, generate revenue, and grow across digital channels.

This research does not only compare surface-level features. It examines how competitors operate as systems: how users enter the platform, how they move through key flows, how pricing or monetization is positioned, how content supports conversion, and how growth channels are used.

It is especially useful before launching a new product, repositioning an existing service, entering a new market, or redesigning a digital experience.

Note: Competitive analysis is not conducted for game companies or firms that produce only basic AI technology or models (such as OpenAI).

Engagement Model

The research process begins with three separate meetings designed to clearly define the scope of the report before the research phase begins.

1

Discovery Meeting

30 Minutes

In this session, the client outlines the market, platform, product category, competitive landscape, or strategic questions they want the research to address. Initial expectations, priorities, and business objectives are evaluated to establish the foundation for collaboration.

This meeting is held to clarify the research objective before any scope proposal is prepared.

2

Scope and Research Direction Meeting

30 Minutes

Following the discovery phase, a second meeting is held to present the proposed research direction and analysis framework.

Based on the information gathered in the first session, the options for the research scope—along with the corresponding changes to the research timeline and pricing—are presented to the client in detail.

3

Final Scope Approval Meeting

30 Minutes

The third meeting is held to finalize the research scope before the research process officially begins.

At this stage, the client approves which areas, competitors, platforms, markets, or strategic questions will be included in the report. The final structure, deliverables, and scope boundaries are clarified, documented, and the necessary contracts are signed to ensure alignment prior to implementation.

Once the scope is approved, the research and report preparation process begins.

Pricing

The price for the research report will be presented to you in detail following the second meeting, as described in the Our Work Model section detailed above. The scope of a research project is determined based on the depth of analysis, the number of platforms, and the market structure. Each project is evaluated separately to determine the fee, taking into account the complexity of the systems to be analyzed, the geographic scope, and the level of strategic insight required.

According to our work model, the third meeting marks the start of the research process. No fees are charged for meetings held or services provided prior to this stage.
